Genesee County Health Department recommends that you see your doctor for all of your health care needs. If you cannot get to your doctor, Genesee County Health Department (GCHD) can assist you and your family with your immediate health care needs. On staff at the McCree building, 630 Saginaw Street, Flint, the Health Department has two health care providers on staff to serve you and your families health care needs; Medical Director, Doctor Gary Johnson sees patients in the STD and Communicable Disease Clinics. Amanda Allmacher, nurse practitioner care manager sees clients at Genesee County Health Department’s Primary Care clinic located on the second floor of the McCree building. In addition to general primary care, the McCree clinic provides specialized primary health care for people who are HIV+ and LGBTQ+ and their unique health care needs.
Nurse Practitioner Care Managers Muriel Sallee and Kim VanSlyke-Smith see patients at Genesee County Health Department’s Burton Health Care Clinic located at 3373 S. Saginaw, Burton. Family planning and female and male sexual health services are provided at this clinic.
