Due to a national shortage of urine STI testing kits, urine testing may not be available during your visit. You may qualify for treatment without testing or for one of our other testing methods. Please call to schedule an appointment or to discuss your testing options with a nurse.
Services will not be denied based upon your income or your ability to pay.
We provide confidential reproductive health services to women and men in and around the Genesee County area. All of our services are completely confidential and no parental consent is required. These confidential services include an annual physical, pap, pelvic exam, clinical breast exam, sexually transmitted infection testing, emergency contraception, and birth control. Free condoms are distributed at Family Planning’s reception window. Genesee County Health Department staff works with teens and adults to answer your questions and to find the most appropriate reproductive plan that suits your needs.
The Health Department will be closed January 18, 2021 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
