Sexual Health Clinic Services

    • Walk-In Clinic. No appointments are necessary
    • Clinic may close early due to client volume or staffing
    • A Sliding Fee Discount Program will be provided to eligible persons based on the patient’s ability to pay.  Ability to pay is determined by the household size and annual income relative to a discount schedule based on federal poverty income guidelines
    • Confidential STI (STD) testing available by request; Anonymous HIV testing available by request
    • HIV testing is free
    • Pregnancy Testing
    • Bring Valid Picture ID
    • All insurances are accepted; please bring insurance card if covered
  • Donations accepted
  • Services will not be denied based upon income or the inability to pay.

We want to meet the health needs of our clients. To better serve you, we allow only infants, in a car seat, into the exam room. We request that you please make childcare arrangements for other children.

  • Syphilis
  • Gonorrhea
  • Chlamydia
  • Trichomoniasis (Trich)
  • Treatment referrals for HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C

Clients may be referred elsewhere to be tested and treated for other diseases.


HIV Testing and Counseling

Public health professionals will counsel clients before and during the testing process. Testing is confidential. Anonymous testing is available upon request.

HIV Partner Counseling and Referral Services (PS)

Positive test results for HIV are to be reported to the local health department by physicians, hospitals, clinics and other testing sites. GCHD follows-up on these reports with partner counseling, testing, and referral as needed.

HIV/AIDS Support Services

The HIV/AIDS support services which are provided to individuals living with HIV/AIDS include: primary medical care, mental health services, case management, transportation, housing, emergency financial assistance, and information. The Ryan White/Title II service provider for Genesee County is Wellness Services.
