Immunization Clinics – Locations and Hours

*Beginning January 1, 2019 we will only be doing vaccine waivers for Genesee County residents and those who have children attending Genesee County schools.*

Due to higher demand for certain vaccines during peak times of the year, please call in advance for vaccine availability at 810-237-4540.

Federally funded vaccines are available to eligible individuals. 

Morning Walk-In Clinic:  Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
First-come, first-serve basis during walk-in clinic hours.
8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m *Clinics may close early due to client volume.

Afternoon Clinic:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

  • Bring out of state shot records
  • Children should have eaten a meal within 4 hours of appointment time
  • Waivers are by appointment only and last 30-45 minutes. You must know the name of the school your child will attend.

The Genesee County Health Department Immunization Program offers a variety of immunization services to community residents. The goal of the program is to reduce the incidence of vaccine-preventable diseases.

Services include:

  • Providing immunization clinics for childhood and adult vaccines at our GCHD clinic and in the community
  • Scheduling Influenza clinics during the flu season
  • Coordinating immunization record assessment, tracking and reporting for all schools in Genesee County
  • Coordinating immunization record assessment, tracking and reporting for all child care centers in Genesee County
  • Quality assurance of the Vaccine For Children (VFC) Program
  • Providing special clinics for school and community programs
  • Providing educational updates for County medical providers
