Region 4 providers and the LHD with the highest rate increase at the end of the challenge within specified parameters will be a winner! ARC rates will be generated using the Profile Report by Provider ID from immunization data entered by health care providers and local health departments into MCIR.
Age and vaccine parameters are for adolescents 11 through 18 years of age for the following vaccine series:
1 Tdap, 3 polio, 2 MMR, 3 Hepatitis B, 2 Varacella, 1 MCV, 3 HPV, 2 Hepatitis A.
Immunizing providers are required by the Michigan Public Health Code to enter all immunizations provided to persons aged 0 through 19 years old into MCIR within 72 hours after administration.
Winners will be determined based on the MCIR Profile rates generated by Region 4 using the above age and vaccine specified parameters:

Providers will fall within one of the three size categories based on the number of patients (pts.) evaluated with the MCIR Profile Report: (small (10-99 pts.), medium (100-499 pts.) and large (500 plus pts.).
One LHD from one of the nine counties in Region 4 will win for achieving the highest increase in their adolescent immunization rate.
